As a long-time resident, I am passionate about the town of Aurora and the direction we are going.
There are a number of concerning issues, such as safety, speeding on our roadways, a unified and accessible downtown core, parks and walkways – in addition to:
Housing

Families continue to face the challenge of finding suitable housing due to unattainable costs and/or unreasonably long wait lists. Managing operating costs (water/sewer, gas, hydro, etc) often compounds affordability.

Recognize the need for both accommodations and accessibility for our seniors.

Architectural control in the redevelopment of existing homes.
Fiscal
Responsibility
As a local small business owner, I am familiar with the day-to-day and annual financial challenges. Over the years, I have built relationships with a number of community members and have listened to their perspective.
My plan is to continue to hear the concerns and needs in this area, and to advocate for appropriate change.
Environmental
Issues
Protecting our parks, dog parks, walking trails, wetlands, and forests are important – as well as the maintenance and accessibility.
When I sat on the Town’s Growth Management Study Committee, my desire was to see controlled growth within the town that respected and preserved the environment.
